Meghan Backs is a highly experienced real estate professional with over 20 years in the industry, specializing in REO, short sales, traditional residential, land, and equestrian properties. Licensed in Arizona since 2004, she brings a results-driven approach backed by deep transaction experience and market expertise.

From 2010–2012, Meghan managed REO inventory for major institutions including Chase, Bank of America, Res.net, CoreLogic, and local banks—handling over 120 properties in 2011 alone. She is highly skilled in navigating complex transactions, including short sales involving multiple lenders, IRS liens, bankruptcy, and other challenging scenarios. Her expertise led to referrals from industry professionals, including being recommended by her team lead to assist attorneys with divorce-related real estate cases.

Today, Meghan works with both short sales and traditional clients, with hands-on experience in unique property types including land, wells, septic systems, and rural and equestrian properties. She is known for her strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and commitment to guiding clients through even the most complex transactions with confidence.

Meghan took time from 2014–2019 to focus on raising her daughter, an experience that strengthened her time management, resilience, and ability to balance priorities—skills she brings into her business every day. She later worked full-time in the equestrian industry (2022–October 2025), further deepening her expertise and network within the horse property community.

Outside of real estate, Meghan is an active volunteer with the United States Eventing Association, serving as Volunteer Coordinator for local shows in Flagstaff, and will step into a leadership role as District Commissioner for Salt River Pony Club in the North Valley in Fall 2026. She is also a proud full-time mom to her daughter, Avery, who already dreams of following in her footsteps as a real estate advisor.
